Our Philosophy: Education and Coaching
A good financial plan provides framework for success in your financial future. We place strong value on helping educate and coach clients with the knowledge and behaviors necessary to make their plan work well.
We believe that success does not come from knowledge alone, but on how we act on the knowledge.
Our Process:
Our process is simple. We start off with a 15-minute consultation, initiated by either a personal introduction from existing clients, or by attending one of our educational workshops. We are more concerned about the relationship fit than net worth. We want to make sure that before we choose to enter into a relationship with a new client that they will have the mindset necessary to make their investment or financial plan successful.

Ron Geer Jr., RICP®
President
Ronald L. Geer, Jr.’s dream of flying in the military ended with a skiing accident his senior year in college. Undeterred, he adjusted his sights.
On the heels of college graduation, Ron started Geer Financial Group, Inc. through which he provided mortgages, life and disability insurance and investment counsel. Through time, he grew disenchanted with investment schemas that were suboptimal at best.
Scottsdale based Matson Money proved to be the solution for which Ron was looking. In 2012, Ron became a co-advisor with Matson, renown for ‘academic investing,’ based on the Nobel Prize winning work of University of Chicago’s Drs. Harry Markowitz and Eugene Fama.
Since that time, Ron has collaborated extensively with medical professionals, C-Suite executives, and charities.
In 2020, Ron changed the name of the firm to Guide Advisors, a name that reflects Ron’s work as a wealth coach and educator. As a ‘Guide,’ Ron helps personal and institutional investors understand the extent to which they are optimizing opportunity, managing risk, and protecting assets – or not.
Ron and Kristy reside in Woodinville, Washington. They are parents to three children, and enjoy time with family, friends, and the great outdoors.
